Tour Plan
Arrive in Dar es Salaam and transfer to the Slipway Hotel, set along the scenic waterfront. Relax in a standard room and unwind after your journey. Dinner is available at the hotel or nearby restaurants (at your own arrangement).
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight to Selous Game Reserve. Upon arrival, check into Selous Riverside Lodge, located along the Rufiji River. In the afternoon, take a boat safari along the river to spot hippos, crocodiles, and vibrant birdlife. Enjoy dinner under the stars at the lodge.
Experience a full day of safari in Selous, famous for its wild terrain and diverse wildlife, including lions, elephants, and the rare African wild dog. Take morning and afternoon game drives for optimal wildlife encounters. Spend a relaxing evening at the lodge by the campfire.
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Mafia Island. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach accommodation to begin the relaxing island portion of your adventure.
