After breakfast, depart from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game viewing. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife, including flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive. In the late afternoon, depart for Bougainvillea Lodge, where you will have dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Full Board (FB)
After breakfast, depart from Bougainvillea Lodge and head to Serengeti National Park via the famous Olduvai Gorge (Optional Extra). Serengeti, known for its vast plains and incredible wildlife, is home to the Great Wildebeest Migration and numerous species of mammals, including the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, followed by a game drive. In the late afternoon, arrive at Matawi Serengeti Camp, where you will enjoy dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Full Board (FB)
Over the next two days, you will explore Serengeti National Park, one of the most renowned wildlife reserves in the world. Serengeti covers an area roughly the size of Northern Ireland and is home to millions of wildebeests, zebras, elephants, lions, leopards, and more. Enjoy daily game drives with picnic lunches and late afternoon returns to Matawi Serengeti Camp. If you wish to make your safari even more memorable, we recommend booking a Balloon Safari (Optional Extra) to experience the Serengeti from the air. Meal Plan: Full Board (FB)
After breakfast, depart from Matawi Serengeti Camp with a packed lunch and drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. The crater is a unique ecosystem, where all of Africa’s Big Five can be found in one place. Enjoy a game drive on the crater floor, where you can get close to wildlife in their natural environment. In the late afternoon, ascend to the crater rim, which offers breathtaking views. Dinner and overnight stay at Bougainvillea Lodge. Meal Plan: Full Board (FB)
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Arusha, with a packed lunch for your journey. You will be transferred to either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight home.
